Kaleidoscope

A Kaleidoscope type sees in many colors at once. They make sense of the world by widening it, holding multiple valid perspectives and finding the pattern that connects them. This pole draws on the Adaptability and Self-Motivation facets of Trait EI and sits comfortable with the ambiguity a Compass would rather resolve.

In creativity research this is divergent thinking, generating possibilities rather than narrowing to one. In Five-Factor terms it maps to the Ideas and Aesthetics facets of Openness: synthesizing, associative, expansive. A Kaleidoscope type is the one who notices the connection nobody else saw, then makes the invisible pattern feel obvious once they name it.
