EQ Lens (Heart)
Mirror
Outward Action vs Inward Reflection
A Mirror processes emotion inward, reflecting deeply and reading the unspoken feelings of a room.
What "Mirror" means
A Mirror takes emotion inward first. Before responding, they reflect, and that reflection lets them read the feelings a room is not saying out loud. This pole maps to the Emotionality factor of Trait Emotional Intelligence: emotion perception, empathy, and deep listening.
Reflection is not passivity. A Mirror often understands a situation more fully than the people acting in it, precisely because they paused to take it in. You can be socially engaged in the Mind lens and still be a Mirror in the Heart lens; the two lenses capture different facets of the same broad trait. The Mirror's gift is depth of feeling, held quietly until it is ready.
