An honest word about "measuring" EQ
Many EQ tests grade you on a single ability scale and then sell you the remediation. The research is unkind to that model: a large share of what ability-style EQ tests measure is explained by personality, IQ, and demographics rather than emotional skill (Fiori and Antonakis, 2011).
